Famous Reporter publishes
poetry and fiction, reviews, interviews, haiku and essays. Please read these guidelines
before making submissions. See also our guidelines for haiku
submissions.
What to include in your submission
Your submission should be accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope for return
correspondence; the envelope should be large enough for return correspondence.
We are keen to include published material on our Famous Reporter website
once it's been published in print in famous reporter, but this is a separate
issue from publication in the magazine. You can save us time by letting us know whether
publication on the web in addition to within the magazine is acceptable. Please note that
not all material published in the print version of the magazine is guaranteed to reach the
web, simply because of constraints on our time.
Poetry submissions
Submissions should be addressed to The Editor, Famous Reporter, PO Box
368, North Hobart Tasmania 7002, Australia along with a stamped addressed envelope large
enough for return correspondence.
Please include more than one poem -- preferably three, four or five -- in any one
submission, so that the poetry editors can get a feel for your work.
See separate instructions for haiku submissions. At Famous
Reporter we receive many submissions that almost make it into our haiku pages, but
miss out on acceptance because of one or two details that don't fit our criteria.
New, emerging and young poets are especially encouraged to submit work.
Contributions from outside Australia are also welcome.
Format
Please be aware that famous reporter is primarily a print journal. Hard copy
please. rather than email submissions. While every care is taken, no
responsibility is assumed for the loss or damage of contributions.
Copyright remains with individual contributors.
Where to post your submission
All other submissions, other than haiku, should be mailed to The Editor, Famous
Reporter, PO Box 368 North Hobart Tasmania 7002 Australia. Address all haiku
contributions (in hard copy, not email) to: Lyn Reeves, 44 Bayside Drive, Lauderdale
