If we lose this war, we\u2019re going to lose our country, our language and our culture so it\u2019s very important to us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a Ukrainian, I was brought up to always think of Ukraine as my homeland. When I went to school people would say, you know, you\u2019re not Ukrainian because you were born in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I went home and I said to my father, \u2018What do I do Dad?
