The\u00a0Pedlars Open Mic Poetry night<\/b>\u00a0is on the second Tuesday next month:\u00a0 the 14th<\/sup>\u00a0November.<\/span><\/p>\n

The competition for November will be THE POETRY HANDICAP<\/span>\u00a0!<\/span><\/p>\n

This means that the poets who have won competitions in the past, who have been published and\/or are well known poets <\/span>are handicapped, giving newer poets a greater chance of winning!\u00a0 So enter the competition if you haven\u2019t done so before, <\/span>and get all your friends to enter!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The winner will be decided upon by the MC of the night.\u00a0 The winner will receive a book prize, a certificate, \u00a0a bottle of wine, and a mystery prize.<\/span><\/p>\n

So get out your pens \u2014 or ipads out \u2014 and start writing\u2026!<\/span><\/p>\n

As usual our Pedlars Open Mic will be held at Sports Garden Hotel in a room off the back bar. \u00a0Meals at Sports Garden are great, s<\/span>o come early and order a meal if you can to support our venue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The readings\/performances will begin at 7.30 p.m. \u2013 we finish at 9.30 p.m<\/span><\/p>\n

Come a little earlier and put your name down if you wish to read as we like to start promptly at 7.30.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two open mic brackets, and the Poetry Handicap competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s gold coin donation.\u00a0 Carol will be collecting on the night.\u00a0 See you there!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
