Born in Brisbane, Kathryn Fry began work as a Research Assistant in Microbiology at the Australian National University,
Canberra. Marriage and family intervened in her ten years at the ANU. She gained a Graduate Diploma in Education in 1994 before teaching
High School Science for a decade. Following that, she worked at the Australian Bureau of Statistics before retiring and relocating
to Belmont NSW with her husband Ian. Her previous books of poetry, both published by Ginninderra Press are: Green Point Bearings
(2018) and The Earth Will Outshine Us (2021).
