VASILE MOLDOVAN - the president of the Romanian Society of Haiku
- was born in 1949. He lives and works as a journalist in Bucharest. He has won several
awards and honorable mentions in international haiku contests, including in Australia and
New Zealand, and published four books of haiku and one of renku.
