The mob is run through the yards:
the ewes go on to the paddock
while the lambs are drafted out
to be castrated and docked.
After, the lambs are released, bleating.
Lambs and ewes find one another.

I thought to describe the scent
of my daughter and the best I have
is that she smells the way
the bleating lamb sounds to the ewe.
