Please read these guidelines before making submissions:

Famous Reporter publishes:

• Short stories,
• articles,
• reviews
• interviews
• haiku
• poems

What to include in your submission:

• Your submission should be accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope for return correspondence; the envelope should be large enough for return correspondence.
• We are keen to include published material on our Famous Reporter website, but this is a separate issue from publication in the magazine. You can save us time by letting us know if publication on the web in addition to within the magazine is acceptable or not.

Poetry submissions:

• Submissions should be addressed to The Editor, PO Box 368, North Hobart Tasmania 7002, Australia along with a stamped addressed envelope large enough for return correspondence.
• Please include more than one poem -- and no more than eight poems -- in any one submission, so that the poetry editors can get a feel for your work.
• See separate instructions for haiku submissions At Famous Reporter we receive many submissions that almost make it into our haiku pages, but miss out on acceptance because of one or two details that don't fit our criteria. Read more.
• New, emerging and young poets are especially encouraged to submit work.
• Contributions from outside Australia are also welcome.

Format:

• Please be aware that famous reporter is primarily a print magazine. Hard copy please, not email submissions.

• While every care is taken, no responsibility is assumed for the loss or damage of contributions.
• Copyright remains with individual contributors.

• all other submissions, other than haiku, should be sent in hard copy, not via email, to: The Editor, PO Box 368 North Hobart Tasmania 7002 Australia.
